However, they are also acidic and thus produce considerable amounts of acid that harm the teeth and make its enamel weak. The citrus fruits may also weaken the gum’s hold on the teeth, and the excessive use of these fruits can weaken the teeth considerably.
#4 Tomatoes
Just like citrus fruits, tomatoes are also acidic. This not only holds for the fresh garden tomatoes. But the acidity of the tomatoes is also present in tomato sauces and stews that are put in the pasta and over pizzas. This acidity makes the teeth weaker and also increases their sensitivity towards different foodstuff.
